Tasting Order

2019 Cabernet Sauvignon – Alexander Valley – Gold

Alexander Valley is known for world-class Cab Sauvs due to the warm noon temperatures and cold summer nights with the fog lying in the valley until
the mid-morning sun burns it away. An idyllic location to grow fine wine and this
wine shines. Full and round with a silky texture, accented with balanced tannins, acids, and pops of dark and red fruits that yield a smooth clean finish. This versatile wine
complements any dinner table from casual burgers to candlelit steaks

2018 Merlot – Paso Robles – Silver

opens with a lightness that builds complexity and depth with each sip culminating in
a full-bodied smooth wine. Swirling releases dark fruit notes of blueberry, dark cherry, and plum. The tannins are smooth and complex. The wine expresses ripe fruit and
eases into dried herbs with slight acidity leaving your palate clean and refreshed. Pairs well with big proteins, complex sauces, rich dark smoked or braised meats, and
hearty sides – think cowboy on the open plains.

2019 Petit & Petite – Lodi – Silver

Though not related, these two grapes blend perfectly together delivering a unique full-bodied wine. The Verdot brings blueberry and violet notes and firm smooth tannins. The Sirah brings dusty notes of black cherry, black pepper, and black tea creating complexity, and structure. The wine shines when paired with a juicy seasoned rib eye steak smothered with mushrooms or go decadent with melted chocolate lava cake. Over time this wine will mellow and develop layers of complexity.

2021 Graciano – Paso Robles – not released yet

For years we have been pulling what we called Mourvedre from the same vineyard and block, only to find out it’s Graciano. Across Paso Robles, dozens of vineyards experienced the same thing that is now known as the “Graciano Goof.” The full-body wine is well-loved and is round and tannic. With moderate acidity and complex texture, this wine is full of flavor. It has a deep, dark color with flavors of blackberry, plum, and violet plus a long satisfying finish.

2018 Zinfandel – Dry Creek Valley

Dry Creek Valley has been growing grapes for over 140 years. This area is 16 miles long and 2 miles wide with over 9,000 acres of vineyards and without any stoplights. Known for the production of excellent Zinfandels, this wine is no exception. While some Zin’s
are big and bold, this is classy, sophisticated, silky, and smooth. Ideal for a romantic evening with a candle-lit meal. The wine is playful and a little spicy.
