SUNday at Koi Zen Cellars “See the Sun Safely

Last “SUN”day at Koi Zen Cellars until Sept. We will be closed on Sundays during the summer.
Wine Club member and amateur astronomer Bill Griffith will be onsite with a solar telescope to safely share views of the sun. The telescope equipped with a hydrogen-alpha filter will allow us to see sunspots (darker, cooler magnetic areas on the surface of the sun), solar flares and flame-like prominences which can be seen on the edge of the sun depending on the solar activity that day.
